Free Diabetes Self-Management Classes in February

INDIANAPOLIS – ABCs of Diabetes is a free four-part series of classes on diabetes self-management offered by the Marion County Public Health Department. Topics include diet, medications, exercise, monitoring, and long-term management.

Classes are open to anyone with diabetes or pre-diabetes. Family members and friends are also welcome. Participants should plan to attend all four classes of the session they choose.

Classes in February will take place at the Lawrence Branch of the Indianapolis Public Library, 7898 Hague Rd., on Thursday, Feb. 4, 11, 18 and 25 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. ABCs of Diabetes is free, but advance registration is required.
