District Health Offices Will Offer Back to School Immunizations During Week of September 27
During the week of September 27 the Marion County Health Department will offer back to school immunizations through its District Health Offices.
Individuals will be seen on a first-come, first-serve basis. Health officials expect long waits at each site, increasing the likelihood that those coming late may not be served.
A parent or legal guardian must accompany the student to the clinic. A current shot record or school letter outlining needed vaccinations should be brought to the clinic.
The health department will charge a $10 administrative fee per individual. Medicaid will be accepted and no one will be denied services due to an inability to pay.
