Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County established several programs as part of its corporate arm. Between the years of 2000 and 2002, Reclaiming the Village, Young Families of Indiana Network, Covering Kids and Families were all brought in or established as new headquarters programs.
These programs range from helping battered women and their families, working with young males, assisting young mothers in signing up their young children with health insurance and working with teen moms to stay and graduate from high school. All of these programs fall under the department of External Affairs. These programs have a specific role in our community and within HHC, where they are a vital part of the mission to establish a healthier community.
