The Legal Department performs the following duties for Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County:

• Manages drafting and approval of corporation agreements.

• Prepares documents for board meetings.

• Advises the corporation on public health services, long term care, research, real estate, safety, security, facility, purchasing and personnel issues.

• Formulates, interprets, and approves corporation policies.

• Monitors litigation and outside counsel.

• Enforces the Code of Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County.
