Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County (HHC) operates the Marion County Public Health Department, Eskenazi Health, Eskenazi Health Foundation, Indianapolis EMS and Long Term Care.

HHC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Indianapolis, the City-County Council and the County Commissioners.

Our Mission is to promote and protect the health of everyone in the community and provide healthcare to those who are underserved.

Our Vision is that Indianapolis will be the healthiest large city in the United States by the year 2030.

MCPHD’s vaccine outreach location at Garfield Park library branch in Indianapolis closed at 1 p.m. today. The vaccine outreach location at College Avenue library branch and the vaccine/COVID-19 testing location at 3901 Meadows Drive will close at 3 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 10.

A Winter Storm Advisory is in effect for Indianapolis until Jan. 11 at 1 a.m. Weather-proof your home so that you can stay safe and warm this winter. Insulate your walls, attic and water lines; check your smoke detector batteries; and have your chimney inspected.
