Do you have used tires that you need to get rid of? Drop them off next Saturday, August 8, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. for Tire Recycle Day. We can take up to six tires as long as they aren’t on rims.

Indiana’s new Farm and Homestead Food Sales law allows homestead vendors and small-farm operators to sell an expanded variety of pre-packaged foods to the public with limited regulation. Types of food and sales locations are limited, and there are labeling requirements.

Fireplaces, cars, and gas appliances can be sources of carbon monoxide (CO), a colorless, odorless, poisonous gas. MCPHD’s Housing and Neighborhood Health staff talks with property owners and tenants about the dangers of CO poisoning and the importance of using CO monitors.
