Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County (HHC) operates Marion County Public Health Department, Eskenazi Health, Eskenazi Health Foundation, Indianapolis EMS and Long Term Care.

HHC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Indianapolis, the City-County Council and the County Commissioners.

Our Mission is to promote and protect the health of everyone in the community and provide healthcare to those who are underserved.

Our Vision is that Indianapolis will be the healthiest large city in the United States by the year 2030.

There are so many easy ways to protect and conserve ground water such as planting native plants or using fewer chemicals in your home and yard and properly disposing of them.

Forty-three million people in the US get water from private groundwater wells which are not subject to any regulations. No matter where you get your water protecting the source is important.
