Added sugars are present in most processed things we eat/drink. These sugars simply add more calories without offering any nutrients to our food. Consuming too much can easily contribute to health issues such as obesity, type 2 diabetes, and other health problems.

Today is Presidents Day. As a reminder, our offices and clinics are closed today. Regular business hours will resume tomorrow.

Home fires and carbon monoxide incidents occur more in the winter than in any other season. Check batteries in carbon monoxide alarms and smoke detectors. Visit https://www.cdc.gov/co/faqs.htm for more information about carbon monoxide.

Our offices and clinics will be closed on Monday, Feb. 19, for Presidents Day. This includes COVID-19 vaccination and testing sites operated by the health department. Regular business hours will resume on Tuesday, Feb. 20.
