Owners of “The Thriller” temporary water slide, 3901 Kevin Way, have been cleared to operate after code violations found by the Marion County Public Health Department were corrected.
“We are pleased with the changes made and the cooperation extended to us. We share a common concern to make certain the public has a safe and healthy experience,” said John Althardt, spokesman for the Marion County Public Health Department.
Health department inspectors visited the site May 31 and found there were no shower facilities as required by code and there was no system for draining discharge water used for hand washing off the site. Those issues have been addressed.
The health department will continue to monitor the site.
