CSX Train Derailment Site Water Sampling Completed
The Marion County Health Department has concluded water sampling in areas near the CSX train derailment site.
Health officials have sampled 30 residences and also a library located near the derailment site. The total includes residents outside of the immediate area who asked that their water be sampled as a precaution.
The Marion County water samples have been sent to the Indiana State Department of Health Laboratory for testing. Results should be back within the next two weeks.
