Health Department Donates Coolers to Food Bank

The Styrofoam coolers holding H1N1 vaccine shipments delivered to Marion County are being donated to the Gleaners Food Bank.

More than 100 of the coolers and cold packs have been given to Gleaners. The local food bank will use the coolers and cold packs when delivering food to needy Hoosiers.

“We continue to accumulate these coolers and cold packs as vaccine arrives and we are delighted to be able to give them to such a worthy organization which can use them to serve the community,” said Virginia A. Caine, M.D., director, Marion County Health Department.
