Asthma Alliance Poster Contest Seeking Entries
Children in grades Kindergarten through 8 are encouraged to share their artistic skills in the 10th Annual Asthma Alliance of Indianapolis Poster Contest. The contest is part of the organization’s efforts to increase community awareness to asthma and its impact on children. First, second and third place prizes will be awarded in each of three age categories.
The poster contest deadline is April 1. Posters are to depict the student’s perception of asthma, asthma prevention or asthma education. Students can use a variety of media to create their entries including paint, chalk, pen, crayons, colored pencils or markers.
Entries must be submitted on an 8.5 x 11 piece of paper and must include an official entry form. Asthma educators will be available upon request to talk with students participating in the contest prior to designing the poster.
