Community-Based Program Brings Students Together to Learn About Resolving Conflicts Peacefully
If you’re a middle school or high school student living in Central Indiana, there’s a great opportunity for you to make our community safer. Students Against Violence Everywhere (SAVE) is a student-led, community-centered organization. SAVE promotes positive ways to resolve conflict, to prevent crime and to be active in service learning projects. There are no membership fees and there are volunteer opportunities for adults. For additional information about the SAVE program, to find out where SAVE chapters are located, how to volunteer or how to establish a SAVE chapter, call the Marion County Health Department at (317) 221-2085.
