Health Department and WTLC-AM Continue Medically Speaking
The longest running, locally produced radio program dedicated to public health issues will continue for another year.
The Marion County Health Department and Radio One have renewed their partnership that will maintain Medically Speaking for another year. The program shares a variety of health related information and allows callers to ask questions to local health professionals.
During the last two Saturdays of every month, the Marion County Health Department hosts Medically Speaking. Program host Dr. Leonard Scott interviews area experts on topics ranging from current public health trends to issues like physical fitness, nutrition, wellness and general health.
Medically Speaking airs each Saturday morning from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. on WTLC-AM.
