Health & Hospital Corporation of Marion County (HHC) operates Marion County Public Health Department, Eskenazi Health, Eskenazi Health Foundation, Indianapolis EMS and Long Term Care.
HHC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Indianapolis, the City-County Council and the County Commissioners.

MCPHD held a car-seat check for Marion County residents on Friday, Jan. 23. About 30 families brought their car seats to the clinic to check their condition, expiration dates and how well the seats fit their children. Staff adjusted car seats as needed or offered replacements.
2UPDATE: All Marion County Public Health Department offices will remain closed for the rest of today, January 26, 2026. Offices will reopen Tuesday, January 27, 2026.
Due to weather and road conditions, the Marion County Health Department will have a delayed start tomorrow, Monday, January 26, 2026, with operations and offices opening at 1 p.m.
