HHC is governed by a seven-member Board of Trustees, whose members are appointed by the Mayor of Indianapolis, the City-County Council and the County Commissioners.

Reclaiming the Village addresses the needs of more than 200 youth in Marion County and to prepare them for successful futures, centering around three main initiatives:
1. “Real Crew Read” book club
2. Conflict Resolution program
3. Communication Circles

Dr. Caine spoke at the grand opening of a new support hub on the Gleaners campus that will allow families to access resources like a free medical clinic and community health workers at the same place where the food pantry is located.
