May 6th is the beginning of National Nurses Week. The Marion County Public Health Department wishes to take this time to recognize the dedicated and caring nurses who make a difference every day. These nurses play a key role in the prevention of disease and the promotion of health for Marion County residents. The nurses collaborate to improve the conditions so that people can live healthy lives. There are nurses located at the Action Health Center, Bell Flower Clinic, Hasbrook building, Northeast District Health Office, Northwest District Health Office, Parker Building and the South District Health Office. These nurses assess health conditions, remove access to barriers, and develop and implement appropriate services at all levels of care. Our nurses are to be congratulated and commended for the work they do.
