Health Department Plays Key Role In Homeless Outreach Event

The Marion County Public Health Department will again have a significant presence during the 6th Annual Indy Homeless Connect.

This community-wide outreach effort continues to provide needed services and resources to the homeless population.

Representing the health department will be Covering Kids and Families of Central Indiana, Social Services, Substance Use Outreach Services, Tuberculosis Control, WIC program, Vital Records (for birth certificates) and the Public Health Lab.

Dental services staff will provide free dental screenings and offer additional follow-up to those attending the Homeless Connect.
