Community Agencies to Continue Heat Wave Relief Through the Weekend

The Marion County Public Health Department, in coordination with the City of Indianapolis, community agencies and neighborhood organizations, will continue providing a number of resources to assist local residents during the ongoing heat wave.
221-2415 Call Center:
The 221-2415 call center, supported by the health department, will be available Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m. Messages can be left after hours and will be returned the next day. The call center is available to answer non-emergency, heat related questions and concerns. Since opening Tuesday afternoon, the call center has received more than 200 calls.
Anyone experiencing significant health issues should contact 911.
Cooling Centers and Indy Parks:
Community cooling centers will be open Saturday and Sunday. In addition, Indy Parks will operate their spray parks, community centers and aquatic centers during regular business hours.

Saturday and Sunday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Hope Baptist Church, 1055 North Girls School Road
Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; Sunday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m.

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
