Free Class for Food Handlers Offered By Health Department

The Marion County Health Department will host four Food Safety Day programs on Wednesday, September 22. Designed for food handlers, the free programs cover topics including the prevention of food borne illnesses, improving personal hygiene, avoiding cross contamination, controlling time and temperature and information on the local food code. Marion County Health Department food inspectors will participate in the programs to answer questions.

This is an informational session and is not a certification class.

The programs will be offered twice in English and twice in Spanish. Classes offered in English will take place at:
